Paul Miller BMW

Our third project with the Paul Miller Auto Group, this design for Paul Miller BMW called for three Butler pre-Engineered steel buildings to be connected to a proposed conventionally framed structure, providing automotive service entry, a detailing wash bay, and a main service building. One of the main challenges, outside of a fast-approaching deadline, was designing the structure to account for five separate floor elevations. Additionally, the design had to incorporate structural steel platforms above the roof to distribute about 30,000 pounds of rooftop HVAC weight to vertical floor columns.

- On top of a fast track schedule and structural challenges, Hance tailored construction to meet our client’s desire for lifetime cost-savings.
Butler’s TextureWall™, a factory-insulated wall system with an exterior stucco-like surface, envelopes the building. It provides a U value of .067, ensuring continuous future energy savings for the client.
This project also utilized an innovative trapeze system designed completely from Butler products to suspend heavy lube equipment from the 28-foot ceiling.
